About Us
Who We Are
The Utah Assisted Living Association (UALA) is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to supporting and strengthening the Assisted Living industry across the state of Utah. We represent providers, professionals, and partners who are committed to delivering highquality care and enhancing the lives of older adults. Since our founding, UALA has served as the trusted voice for Assisted Living in Utah— promoting standards of excellence, offering industry education, and advocating for policies that protect and empower both residents and providers.
Our Mission
To promote the concept of assisted living throughout the State of Utah. To increase knowledge and improve skills of our members. To assist regulatory bodies in defining standards as they apply to the management of senior housing.
What We Do
- Education & Training: We offer regular training programs, conferences, and certifications to ensure professionals in Assisted Living are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
- Advocacy: UALA advocates at the state level for legislation and regulations that support quality care, protect residents, and strengthen providers.
- Member Support: We connect our members to valuable resources, networking opportunities, and industry best practices to help them thrive.
- Public Awareness: We help families and the community understand the role of Assisted Living and support them in making informed decisions about senior care.
Our Members
Our members include Assisted Living communities of all sizes and levels, from urban to rural, as well as the industry partners who support them. Together, we form a collaborative network that is passionate about improving care for Utah’s seniors.
