Rodney Washburn

Rodney has been working in Assisted Living for 20 years. He found his way to this industry after doing an internship with a local Assisted Living Facility, earning his degree in Healthcare Administration from Weber State University. He has worked for various companies over the years, ranging from the largest in the United States to one with a single owner. Rodney has been on the Utah Assisted Living Association board for many years and has served as the president from 2011-2012. Serving as a chairperson for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk for a Cure and helping seniors affected by this disease has been a rewarding experience for many years.

When not at Chancellor Gradens, Rodney loves to be doing anything he can outdoors. He is an avid skier and biker and has done LOTOJA more than 11 times. He participates in different kinds of obstacle races, triathlons and marathons. He enjoys backpacking, especially in the Wind River Range. He has lived most of his life in Utah with his wife and four children.
